From the RB Salvation Army to their Senior Apartment Residents and to the Redondo Beach Community:

The Salvation Army has mobilized to meet the needs of our seniors and the community. In response to the current crisis, The Salvation Army Redondo Beach Corps will be expanding their food programs. They will be the increasing availability of both the delivered meals and non-perishable food boxes. If you need a food box or a meal delivered from our daily meal program, please let the Salvation Army know. Meal costs can be waived during this emergency response period. Additionally, we have increased the cleaning and sanitation of common surfaces.

All non-emergency related activities and meetings have been canceled. And, due to the need to limit public gatherings, The BeachLife Festival will not be using our parking lot in May. The festival has been postponed to a future date yet to be announced.

Beach Cities Health District has also expanded its services to assist seniors with errands, housekeeping, etc. Their phone number is (310)374-3426.

Most importantly, please do not hesitate to call or ask for any assistance needed! We know there is no need to panic. We put our trust in God. I pray for each of you to have peace during this time.
