2,490 homes
It is YOUR time to SPEAK UP!
The Planning Commission listened. They recommended to City Council the following in 90278:
- Consider the area east of Aviation Park and Aviation Track for mixed use (4-2-1 vote in favor)
- Change north Kingsdale lot consolidation area as residential 45 du/acre (5-2 vote in favor)
- Change southeast corner at intersection of Artesia and Aviation north of Carnegie considered for mixed use at 30 du/acre (7-0 vote in favor)
- Consider reducing the Galleria South overlay to be used for just 300 housing units (5-2 vote in favor)
PLUS the 300 ALREADY ENTITLED for Galleria North
And they almost took out the previous recommendation:
Up to 1,000 Units North of Manhattan Beach Blvd.
Consider north tech district (North of MB Blvd & South of Marine Avenue) overlay be reduced to only include any additional units IF needed (5-2 in favor)
