GPAC Update

GPAC had a great meeting last night.  After community input, the members unanimously approved to remove the “190th Street Option B Tech Corridor” from the potential list of land use alternatives for the General Plan update.

GPAC also began their discussion of the Artesia and Aviation Blvd corridors.  The discussion will continue at their next meeting on Thursday, April 25, 2019, at 6:30 pm in the Main Library 2nd Floor Meeting Room.

If you, or anyone you know, lives adjacent to Artesia or Aviation, GPAC wants input on the types of businesses and activities everyone would like to have on these important corridors.

• What’s working?
• What’s lacking?
• What types of businesses should the City incentivize?
• What will encourage nearby residents to walk or bike over to these coordinors?
• What would make residents want to spend time within these corridors?
