Community Meeting for the City’s General Plan Update

The City wants to show you the New General Plan Update!

Over the past year and a half, the GPAC has been working hard exploring land use and other issues with will inform and shape our General Plan Update. Come to learn more about the General Plan update and participate in a land use survey, provide public comment, speak one-on-one with project team members and discuss ideas with fellow community members.

Topics to be covered include: purpose of a general plan, overview of the process to date, issues and opportunities facing the City in the next 20 years, the general plan draft vision and guiding principles, focus areas where land use guidance is requested by the GPAC and an overview of the issues and opportunities concerning parks and open space that will include a summary of the results from the recently completed Citywide parks survey.
