At its October 20th meeting the Redondo Beach City Council approved moving forward with plans to set up a temporary shelter.

I have always said: If you are a City leader and you have a plan to provide shelter or housing in your area, I am behind you 100%. That is why I am happy to help make this project a reality with $420,000 of County funding and $409,000 from my office.

This is good news for Redondo Beach and I want to thank Mayor Bill Brand and the Council for stepping up to take this on.
